spondyloarthropathy
any sero-negative arthritis that is characterized by the presence of the tissue-type antigen HLA-B27 (see HLA system) and the absence of rheumatoid factor. Spondyloarthropathies include ankylosing spondylitis, Reiter's syndrome, and psoriatic arthritis.
